Fox River Trail Cleanup

The Fox River Trail Runners Club has adopted a one mile section of the Fox River Trail between Batavia and Geneva. It is on the east side of the Fox River and runs approximately from the Fayban Parkway Bridge north to the Geneva water treatment plant near the railroad bridge. Our adoption duties include periodic picking up of trash along our section of the trail.

Our next trail clean-up is scheduled for Sunday, April 18th at 2 PM (see Calendar). Please try to come out and help. We will meet in the Fabyan Windmill parking lot on the east side of the river. Earth Day is April 22 so we will be ready for this special day celebrating our commitment to the environment. This is our opportunity to give something back to our community by beatifying a resource most of us as runners use often.

Just bring work gloves and family and friends to help out. Many hands make light work. The whole process should take less than an hour. Contact Al Edgecombe (alan_l_edgecombe@yahoo.com) or Jerry Marcec (marcecjj@yahoo.com) if you need further information.
