| About This Event: |
| Got the late winter blues or cabin fever? Get out of your domicile and trail run. This true off road trail run start at 10:00 a.m. Open to all ages and abilities Warm and yummy refreshments after the run. |
| Course: |
There will be single and double track trails filled with snow (we hope) rocks, branches, ruts and fun!
Start will be on the road outside the Hickory Knolls Natural Area heading south before turning west onto the trail for a loop course. The trails are part of restored wetlands, woodlands, savanna and prairie. Be prepared for a fantastic off road experience.
COURSE MAP
No Strollers, dogs, or bikes are allowed in the run. For safety reasons, the use of headphones or other electronic devices during the race is STRONGLY discouraged. |

Directions: |
| Race start is the Hickory Knolls Natural Area located on the far west side of James O. Breen Community Park in St. Charles, IL. For out of area visitors, St. Charles is accessible by I-88 or I-90. Local folks can access the race site via Randall Road to IL-38/Lincoln Highway west to Peck Road north to Campton Hills Drive west to Lynn Dr. south. |
| Parking: |
| The race parking area is at Campton Hills Road and Lynn Dr. Park only in designated spots. |

Register online using link at bottom of this page. Complete registration will yield confirmations from both FRTR and Paypal. Race day registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. and close at 9:30 a.m.

| Packet Pickup: |
| Race packet pickup will be on race day beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the Hickory Knolls Discovery Center, 3795 Campton Hills Road - entrance is on the south side of Campton Hills Road just west of Peck Road. Follow signs to the Hickory Knolls Discovery Center. Packets can be picked up by people other than the race entrant with a valid confirmation document. |
| Swag: |
| Included in your race registration for the first 200 will be a unisex Beanie/Watchcap by Sport Science. It's a wool/poly cap engineered to wick moisture and keep your noggin warm. |
| Refreshments: |
| There will be water, and hot liquid refreshments/snacks for participants at the Hickory Knolls Discovery Center. |
| Awards: |
Overall Male and Female - Snow King and Queen
Top three Male and Female in these age groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over. Overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. |
